The Osoyoos Food Bank is held monthly on the 2nd Thursday of the month from 1:30pm-6:00pm in the Lower Hall at the Osoyoos Baptist Church. We have extended the ‘Food Bank Day’ hours to better accommodate our clients.

*Our foodbank serves Permanent residents of Osoyoos*

REGISTRATION

Registration for Food Bank is available Monday-Friday from 9am – 12noon in the office.

Photo Identification for all household members & proof of residency is required. All current and new clients are required to bring a T1, or three consecutive, recent bank statements to the Food Bank Administrator in the office to determine eligibility . This is a requirement for all adults in the household.

*Our goal is to ensure that families who are experiencing Food Insecurity are cared for and their needs are met. We will consider ourselves “stewards” of the Food Bank. The residents of Osoyoos graciously donate and we seek to be wise and prudent in how it is distributed.*

If you are need of emergency food, please contact the office: 250-495-6581 during office hours only (Monday – Friday 9 am – noon) so a representative can be available to assist with your needs.

FoodMesh

for registered foodbank clients and is held on Monday 5pm-6pm & Thursday 9:45am – 11:00am (except on Food bank day) Clients are welcome to attend Food Mesh once a week

Making Donations:

Cheques can be sent to the church office: 6210 – 97th Street, Osoyoos BC V0H 1V4 or dropped off to the church office Monday – Friday 9 am – 12 noon. We also accept e-transfers sent to our email: osoyoosfoodbank@gmail.com.

Food donations can be dropped off during church office hours.

Food Drives/Collecting donations for Osoyoos Food Bank:

If you are organizing a food drive or taking donations for the Osoyoos Food Bank, First of all – Thank You very much for your support! Secondarily, please advise the office of details (date, time, place & name of organization taking collection).

Also….Important to know: the Food Bank does not support any telephone, mail, email or door to door solicitation for money at anytime!
